Main responsibilities:

Monthly close procedures, including journal entries and general ledger review.
Monthly consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules.
Perform complex accounting functions
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Assists with monthly variance analysis and documents discrepancies.
Assists with quarterly analysis, internal reporting and preparation of audit schedules.
Partnering with FP&A and operational teams as required.

A newly created Senior Accountant role has become available within a listed Construction business headquartered in Atlanta. The progressive position will allow the successful candidate to be managing their own team of at least 3 people within 12-18 months.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
CPA or CPA track preferred.
3-5 years of experience in accounting, in similar role or public accounting.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite with strong proficiency in Excel.
